The Basics of Measurement & Blueprint Reading
This class will teach the basics of measurement and blueprint reading, essential skills for maintenance professionals. Students will learn how to properly read a tape measure, including tips and tricks to simplify measurements, as well as the symbols and extra features on a tape measure. We’ll cover how to use a scale ruler for blueprint reading, understand common blueprint symbols, and apply this knowledge on the job. The course will also introduce various squares and levels, with practical tips for cutting, leveling, and aligning accurately. Don’t forget to bring your tape measure to class!
