Presented by Jay Parsons, Rental Housing Economist
What's in store for the Denver apartment market in 2025? Rental housing economist Jay Parsons will share the latest data on how high supply volumes are impacting performance — when lease-up pressures will ease, what impact that could have on occupancy and rents across the metro area, and how property managers can stay ahead of the trends.
Key Takeaways Include:
-
New supply volumes are scheduled to peak at multi-decade highs in Denver during the first half of 2025, then drop materially.
-
Demand drivers in Denver remain robust. There's a ton of demand for apartments across the metro area. You may not feel it or see it at every property because there's still even more supply than demand, but there's a ton of demand out there for apartments.
-
"Heads in beds" strategies are paying off surprisingly well with improved retention rates despite renters having an increased number of alternatives.
Panelists:
- Amie Robertshaw, RADCO
- Liz Shrout, Asset Living
- Elizabeth Dapper, Greystar Real Estate Partners
- Rhonda Campbell, Grand Peaks
