Organization Overview

Dixie Carpet was founded in 1973 with the goal of serving the greater Houston area by supplying a turnkey service for property managers and general contractors. Dixie organized a group of dedicated employees and installers to make up what today is Dixie Carpet Installations Inc. With a primary focus on multifamily Interiors, Dixie Carpet successfully services a multitude of existing communities, new construction assets from garden style to mid-rise builds, and single family rentals, all while growing their footprint across the United States.

After decades of growth, the company expanded into their new corporate office in Houston to better accommodate this thriving development. To date, Dixie Carpet has expanded nationally into 11 locations, providing service in Texas, Colorado, South Carolina, Arizona, Georgia and Minnesota. Each location services their geographic reach with local installers equipped with the best training and resources to install carpet, luxury vinyl plank, laminate, engineered wood, floor tile, and wall tile.

In 2019 Dixie Carpet was acquired by Artisan Design Group, who share a passion for providing quality-controlled installation and product procurement services while maintaining the integrity of the original culture. Subsequently this merger established them as one of the top flooring suppliers in the country and allowed for unprecedented growth and acquisition during the worldwide pandemic of 2020.
